FISHINN project
The objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness and resilience of local fisheries ecosystems and value chains across the Atlantic Area by strengthening collaboration and innovation capabilities among local actors.
By facilitating knowledge exchange among key stakeholders, with support from technological centers and clusters, FISHINN seeks to catalyze the development of new economic activities and facilitate the transition towards smarter, more circular, and efficient business models, as well as innovative solutions within local fisheries ecosystems.
Project duration: 36 months (November 2023 – October 2026)
Funding: Interreg Atlantic Area Programme 2021-2027
Budget: 1.24 M€

Qualitative and quantitative diagnosis for ecosystems characterization
Local innovation forums as governance bodies to foster collaboration and local involvement
Local innovation roadmaps to transfer innovative solutions to pilot sites
