Hybrid Event | Quimper (France) & Online

As part of the FISHINN project, the 2nd Transnational Innovation Forum will take place in Quimper, France, organised by Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille and Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, the two French partners of the project.

Bringing together the FISHINN consortium in person, with online participation for associated partners and stakeholders, the forum will showcase progress made towards the project’s Innovation Roadmaps for Local Fisheries Ecosystem Regeneration, while fostering discussion on wider opportunities and challenges facing fishing territories.

The programme will feature updates from the four pilot territories — Lea-Artibai, Cornouaille Saint-Guénolé-Penmarch, Sines and Kerry — presenting advances achieved through local innovation processes. It will also offer cross-perspectives on projects supporting sustainable fisheries and the blue economy, including:

  • APPETIT project – developing bio-based alternative bait solutions for pot fisheries
  • EU project Blue Shuttle – upporting innovation and digitalisation in the blue economy

The forum will provide an opportunity to share emerging results, build on stakeholder contributions and reinforce cooperation around practical and scalable solutions for fisheries ecosystem regeneration.
